You have to go back pretty far before you get away from Autodesk licenses "calling home" to servers. Autodesk can't at all enforce such a thing so it's not really an issue at all. I see software that is pretty old being sold and bought like that quite often, but it is original and authentic. The only option that you could take (depending on your location) would be a local buy/sell/trade market, such as Craigslist or local social media groups.
But there's no risk in buying legal software. Software is pirated, bought and used all the time. You can certainly do it, just make sure you understand all the risks.
That's like going to a retail store, buying a TV for $500 and they bought it stolen for $5 making $495 profit, when other retailers buy from the manufacturer for $400 making $100 profit legitimately. It's unfair to your customers if you're charging full price. I've even received hand signed letters when I've had more installs than I should with their software in the past, with a followup phone call. potapps is an obvious scam so you may not get the software, or if you get the software it'll have a keygen/crack associated with it which threatens you when the serial calls for authorization from Autodesk's servers or they may confiscate your card info.Ģ.
